Chihuahuas Baseball is Back! After 20 months without a first pitch at Southwest University Park, Opening Day presented by Stouffers for the Chihuahuas takes place on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 7:05 p.m. at Southwest University Park. The Chihuahuas will take on the Albuquerque Isotopes (Colorado Rockies), the start of a six-game series.
El Paso Chihuahuas pitcher MacKenzie Gore is scheduled to start on Opening Night, May 13, at Southwest University Park. Gore is ranked the #1 prospect in the San Diego Padres organization and the #1 pitching prospect in all of baseball. He was the third overall pick in the 2017 amateur draft.
