BASEBALL IS BACK! Chihuahuas Announce 2021 Season Schedule
The Chihuahuas are scheduled to open their 2021 campaign on the road on April 8. Opening Day at Southwest University Park is scheduled to take place on April 22.

Locomotive Outreach Supports Young Players Locally and Internationally
El Paso Locomotive FC worked in partnership with Segundo Barrio, the El Paso Independent School District and Texas Tech to provide Locomotive gear to young soccer players and front line healthcare workers. Locomotive Defender Mechack Jerome used this opportunity to donate gear with the help of the club and his teammates to his community in Haiti.

USL Championship, Select Unveil 2021 Official Match Ball
The USL Championship and its official match ball provider, Select, revealed today its new Select Super Brillant match ball for the 2021 Championship season. The Select Super Brillant has been the official ball of the Championship since 2018 and will sport a new gold, black and turquoise design for 2021.

Padres Spring Training Schedule
San Diego Padres players have reported to Spring Training in Peoria, Arizona. The team’s first Cactus League game is on February 28 against the Seattle Mariners. (Padres.com, 2/22/2021)

Former Chihuahuas Pitcher Signs with Giants
Jay Jackson, who pitched for the El Paso Chihuahuas in 2015, has signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants. Jackson appeared in 48 games for El Paso and posted a 3-3 record with 14 saves and a 2.54 ERA for the Chihuahuas’ first playoff team. He has previous major league experience with the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers. (CBS Sports, 2/15/2021)
